In this painting, the third of a series of three, the tree has grown, as a result of constant care and perseverance. The figure is now reaping the rewards of his/her work by seeking shelter and protection under the tree. The figure is now able to reflect on the journey and behold the beauty that surrounds him/her. The painting is set at sunset, where the sun promises a new day and an opportunity for a new goal.
