About Tamara Khodr

Growing up within a minority in mount Lebanon, stories of rebirth and past lives have always been told and retold in every home. These stories have always been the artist’s main source of inspiration.

That inspiration led the artist to a canvas whereby she tries to portray the multi-dimensional existence and evolution of humanity. As a self taught artist, she aims to represent the constant and uncomfortable change we endure as humans and the rollercoaster of emotions that often trigger these changes. She finds that humans exist as a spectrum rather than, a fixed identity.

She now resides in Dubai and paints her inner emotions in a home away from home. Since then, her work was showcased at FLTRD Gallery and Arch Interiors.
