The painting depicts a regular breakfast setting, interrupted with a harsh reality endured by people watching the media. As we try to go about our normal lives, there is a sense of guilt that comes with it as bombs drop down on people and children in other parts of the world. The figures are frozen in shock and unable to stomach any food.
